Fourth Update - Getting Grounded
Hi guys,
So, we have a pretty big update here. Fixed all known bugs or at least the obvious ones, which will be listed below. Added a couple of things we were going to save for the next update but was able to squeeze into this one. Because we were able to cover all the known bugs, we can actually focus more on finalizing the pacing of the area, crafting a few assets, and solidifying a better, more intuitive, player experience.
We may take a couple of days off from the 2-week straight stint of coding and crafting to reorganize our priorities here, but also to work on features for our last update to this NFT, and we can focus on our next v0.02 scenario.
That doesn't mean this scene won't be updated anymore, contrary to that we want a full experience and will flesh out this scene more and more as time goes on, we just won't prioritize it anymore or will update as we make more features in other scenes.
That being said this is the list of bugs and features added:
Bug List:
- Player SFX have been fixed and player hurt has been fixed.
- Fixed Game over Text for all camera angles.
- Fixed Bunny Stomp freeze issue.
- Turned off shoot function when game was over.
- Fixed character freeze delay on DVD machine.
- Turned map off on other camera views that could freeze the player unexpectedly.
- Turned off player and enemy sounds going off when you entered and exited areas.
New Features Added:
- Added a new early mission to the area, (Very Basic)
- Added convenience store, now is an accessible area.
- Rearranged scores and added new music.
- Updated some aesthetics, features more of a night scene.
- Programmed new key and features associated with it.
- Bunnies now stomp on you when you die, it's kind of funny sometimes.
- New SFX added to all doors
There are probably more, but I was having issues delegating which were bugs that came into being adding new features vs. pre-existing bugs.
I hope you continue to look at our game as we make progression and come check out our next update where we will add as much as we have the previous 4.
Thanks again,
Indenial
